A beautiful didrachm from Nola

CAMPANIA. Nola. Circa 400-385 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.26 g, 8 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing laureate and crested Attic helmet decorated with an owl standing right, head facing, on the bowl. Rev. NΩΛAIΩN Man-headed bull standing to right; below, monogram of ΛE. Basel 50 (this coin). HN Italy 603. Rutter 4 (same dies). Sambon 811. SNG ANS 558. A lightly toned and attractive example of this charming issue. Minor traces of overstriking on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
